Leroy Perez 

has been in Information Technology, Information Security (InfoSec) and Cyber Security (CyberSec) industry for over 18 years and holds a variety of technical certifications combined with years of experience in Information Systems, Computer Networking, Information Security, Computer Forensics, IT Audit Compliance and Frameworks, (RMF), Computer and Network Incident Response and Management. In addition to Teaching.

  Served as vCISO for an (MSP) Managed Services Provider that Enforces and Supports the Information Security for several Non-Profits, Corporate, Legal, Medical, Education and Financial entities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area across the country and Overseas.

Since 1995, he has also been teaching Industry vendor certification courses for CompTIA, Microsoft, and InfoSec related certifications. He also serves as a consultant and provides pro-bono InfoSec, Pen Testing, Forensics, and IT Framework Audit and Compliance services to both the Non-Profits and Educational sector.  Mr. Perez is a seasoned IT Security professional and continues to serve and consult throughout the US with more concentration within the Mid-Atlantic Region. While also providing and serving as a Lead on CyberSec services on a variety of Overseas projects.

He also teaches and serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various technologies. His prior experience has also allowed him to teach and consult on funded courses from the (DOL) Dept of Labor, JTPA, EDWAA Workforce Investment Act (WIA), and various other technology schools that dealt with government training And technology contracts.

He is very involved with his work with technology. Mr. Perez also maintains in contact with several students that he helped in allowing for them to make a career transition into the technology and InfoSec field.
